This 2-day course positions learners to successfully complete the DevOps Foundation® examination.
As organisations face new entrants in their respective markets, they must stay competitive and release new and updated products regularly rather than once or two times a year. DevOps Institute’s DevOps Foundation® is a freestanding certification from PeopleCert. The purpose of the certification and its associated course is to impart, test and validate knowledge of DevOps basic vocabulary, principles and practices. The vocabulary terms, concepts and practices are documented in the course learner materials. DevOps Foundation® is intended to provide individuals with an understanding of basic DevOps concepts and how DevOps may be used to improve communication, collaboration and integration between software developers and IT operations professionals.

Learn the basic DevOps concepts, principles, and practices needed to deliver high-quality software solutions quickly, exceed customer expectations, and outpace competitors. Learners will understand DevOps, the cultural and professional movement that stresses communication, collaboration, integration, and automation to improve the flow of work between software developers and IT operations professionals. This course prepares participants for the examination leading to the DevOps Foundation® certification:
This DevOps Institute certification is governed and maintained by PeopleCert. The exam is provided as an online examination voucher on the first day of your course. You will receive an email from PeopleCert with information on how to register and schedule your exam. The examination is 60 minutes, please allow for an additional 30 minutes for set up and authentication. You will require a photo identification, quiet space, webcam, speakers and a reliable internet connection.
The exam schedule is available 24/7 so you can sit your exam at a time that suits you. Your voucher will be valid for 12 months, we do recommend you complete your examination as close to the course date as you can – this is when the information is fresh and relevant.
